Citizens’ Oversight Committee (COC) Meeting

On February 17, 2018, the Board of Education approved the establishment of a COC, whose purpose is to assist the District in maintaining accountability and integrity of the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) that was approved by voters in November of 2017.

The COC is composed of seventeen (17) members, recommended by the Board of Education and Superintendent, and approved by the Board. Nominees have expertise in areas such as architecture and engineering, construction, financial management, land development, public agencies coordination, labor and construction law, work force and economic development, or parent leadership.
