Fort Worth Independent School District and Procedeo
Announces 2017 Fort Worth ISD Bond Bid Preview September 26, 2018
An opportunity for the construction community to meet owner representatives and architects, as well as learn specifics about upcoming 2017 FWISD Bond bid opportunities.
Fort Worth, Texas – Fort Worth Independent School District (FWISD) 2017 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) invites you to the first 2017 FWISD Bond Bid Preview event. 2017 FWISD Bond Bid Preview is scheduled on September 26, 2018 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm at Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center, 5201 C.A. Roberson Boulevard, Fort Worth, TX 76119. This event will provide information about upcoming procurement opportunities with the District. It’s free of cost to attend and will provide the opportunity to the construction community to receive details and specifics of ongoing projects before the construction phase begins.
In November 2017 voters of Fort Worth approved a bond for just under $750 million for capital improvement projects throughout the District. We are currently in our design phase and our first construction opportunities will go out for bid between the fourth quarter in 2018 and the first quarter of 2019. We are holding this event prior to opening the bid process so our Dallas-Fort Worth general contractors are aware of the opportunities. This event will give the construction community an opportunity to meet and speak to the owner’s representatives and architects who will have additional details on the scope of each project. Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) specialists will also be available to talk about FWISD HUB guidelines and requirements.
